The following lines were written extempore on Commodore Hyde
Parker, by a facetious clergyman, at Savannah, in Georgia. .
. [6 lines]
  Hyde Parker! Hide for shame your head,
  And keep from Mrs. Cropa's bed;
  Nor deem yourself a Commodore,
  Who traffick with a common whore;
  Besides, perhaps, you may be damn'd,
  For disobeying God's command:
  But if you mean to save your soul,
  Restore the indigo you stole.
